Omnipotent and Almighty God I praise you today as I contemplate the great event of Easter and all that happened to you for the sake of all mankind. I am filled with nothing but pure joy and a profound sense of gratitude. May the echoes of your great victory at Calvary continue to reverberate all across the world. Please continue to warm our hearts as you did for the disciples who met You on the road to Emmaus. Continue to stir in us the courage to speak up for You so that many will in these last days find You in time. Amen. (3/28/16)
Glory to you
My Lord and my God where should I start praising you? You have done so much and you continue to do so much for me. Indeed your Name is above every name and you are without equal. You owe us nothing it is rather we who owe you so much yet you gave what was most important – your very life for us all.
As I contemplate the events of your triumphant entry into Jerusalem as you brought your light into that city to take away the darkness that had gripped the hearts of men. You could read our response but yet you carried out your duty for our greater good. Dear Lord please continue to shed your light on us and save us even as we echo the hosanna around the world. May our work and worship never cease.
Thank you Jesus for everything.
Mender of broken pots
Your Holiness, the Great and Mighty Wonder, the Repairer of the broken, the King of Kings and the Lord of lords, I come before today with a heart full of praise, gratitude and openness. Indeed you give and give and never stop giving so we can always come to ask from You.
You reminded me today in church that you are still the Potter and I am the pot. Sometimes I come before You very broken but when I allow you to do so, You mend me. The wonderful thing is that when you mend you mend me with gold so that your mended work is done in such a way that I look better than before. Please always give me a contrite open heart to yearn for You and run to You whenever broken to be made better and reusable. Take away the temptation for me to try to mend myself or try something else before running to you in desperation.
Thank You Father, that you love me so much. Amen
His Majesty the King of kings and the Lord of all lords, I come to you today contemplating all that you have done for me in this life. I am grateful for everything including the fact that I am alive and living and breathing today.
With a heart of gratitude I am thankful for all you have placed in my life at its different stages. I am thankful for my parents who brought me physically into this world and nurtured me to be who I am today. I am thankful for my friend, support lover and life partner, Fanny who you gave me years ago. I am grateful for our son Adomba who you graciously gifted us with. I am thankful for my brothers, sister and extended family that care and look out for each other. I am also thankful for friends, colleagues, acquaintances and ‘angels’ you have led to me. I am also thankful even for some negative people who have come my way. I am thankful for the spiritual leaders you have used over the years to build me up in the Christian journey and continue to do today. I am thankful for the church in which you have placed me and the leadership of the church and also the many opportunities to serve you in the church.
I am truly grateful dear Father for all you have done and continue to do for me.
