One day to feed the world
Majesty! Worship His Majesty
Unto Jesus be all glory honor and praise…-Jack W. Hayford
How can I ever finish thanking and praising You O Lord for all you do for me! It is difficult to be able to completely comprehend You. You are so great and mighty you continue to surprise me with your goodness. You are indeed a wonderful God. May your Name be exalted forever.
Lord today as a church we dedicated the day to support the ‘One Day To Feed The World’ initiative sponsored by the Convoy of Hope. We gave a day’s wage to help feed, sustain and empower many who are starving all across our world. Lord many a time with all the abundance that surround us and the wastefulness we engage in we forget that there are so many who have nothing and would need our love and help no matter how small it may be . May we always open our hearts and our purses to the poor as you asked us to do so we fulfill your will for us. Amen.(9/25/16)
One more year
“Pass me not O gentle Savior
Hear my humble cry
While on others calling
Do not pass me by “– Fanny Crosby
Lord you are so good and your mercies are new every morning. Indeed you are a great God and your faithfulness cannot be questioned. Your handwriting is displayed on all creation and in your children and I am not exempt. I revel in your love and goodness and I say glory be to your Name.
Lord I am so deeply indebted to you for all you have been doing for me all the time. You have given me a wife, a family and a job. I am grateful that a few days ago you added one more year to my life. Lord it is my plea that as you did for Isaac and his family in the bible you will make room for me in this land (America) and also make me fruitful. May you perfect all that concerns my career and our other needs as well. Thank you so much Jesus. Amen.(9/18/16)
9/11 Anniversary – that we may never forget
Father God we come before you as we praise and adore You. We lift up your name on high. Let the whole earth worship you!
Father, truly the secret things are for the Lord and those which are revealed are for us and our children (Deut 29:29). Today we pause in the hustle and bustle of this life to remember that it is 15 years to the day when terrorists took the lives of so many people and others also laid down their lives to save others when some places in the US were attacked with planes being used as weapons. May you continue to strengthen us as a people and comfort and protect the families of all those who died that day and days and years after as a result of what happened. May You continue to reveal yourself to us as a nation and protect us from new threats that weigh themselves on us with each passing day. Thank You for all you do for us. Amen. (9/11/16)
