Lord, today is the opening day of a new year, 2017, thank you for ushering us into it. We want to thank you for your love which is embodied in your care, keeping and all that you did for us in the year that has elapsed. Lord we ask that you help us to hold on to you day by day this year. Many think that entering another year is what is important but we find that some people enter the year alright but die soon after or later on. All we ask of you is that we are able to keep our eyes on You and we know that everything will be alright. Thank you Lord. Amen (1/1/17)
