Remembering the foreigners
“You must not mistreat or oppress foreigners in any way. Remember, you yourselves were once foreigners in the land of Egypt. –Exodus 22:21
God of the American, God of the British, God of the Native American,God of the African, God of the Indian, God of the Ghanaian, God of every tribe, peoples and country. You are indeed Lord of the earth. You have no beginning and no end. You are the Immortal and Invisible God. I want to adore you. I want to praise You. I want to worship You. I cannot exist without You because you made me and you are my everything. May your great Name be exalted forever and ever O Lord.
Lord of late what we have taken for granted for so long in our country is now in question. There have been unprovoked attacks against innocent people who are not Americans but legally resident here. Lord we fear that this may continue and many of us who have foreign sounding names and look foreign could also be the target of attacks. Lord may our country not lose its soul and for us to forget that you want us all to remember and be kind to foreigners since we have been foreigners before in this land. May these attacks end. Please protect the foreigner in every land. Amen (4/1/17)
